It only takes 3 commissioners to approve the possible merger and Moses Carey is already on record to vote for proposed merger. If you have concerns, questions, or a position on this matter, then you should send postal mail to the commissioners and send a copy of the letter via email to possiblemerger@co.orange.nc.us

The group has a mailing list which citizens opposed to merger can join. The website also contains a "fact or fiction" section documenting
the group's talking points on many issues.
BIG NEWS!!!! There were four commissioner proposals (

) presented on Nov 11th. Of the four proposals, only Moses' proposal included merger. The other three
proposals were amazingly similar in that they talked about starting to provide funding equity and work on collaboration
in the near term.
