The following are during a very light rain in November. We will update these when we get a chance to get pictures during a decent rain. Suffice it to say that several classrooms had to be sandbagged to try to alleviate flooding this summer.
The puddle is hard to see because it is clear, but it is an inch deep in the middle.
This was taken in early 2004 after snow and melting followed by freezing temperatures. There are may of these grates on campus and they freeze and are hazardous.
The following pictures are relatively unimpressive except for the fact that all of this water came from hydrostatic pressure. It had not rained for the week prior to these. What happens here is that the water freezes in the winter even without precipitation.
