Seawell SGC Agenda September 2, 2003

We have a busy meeting on tap this time. 

Below is the agenda as of September 1st.

Should also discuss how to request safety coverage during events such as meet the teacher and open house nights, particularly when Smith has a concurrent event.

We should have something in the newsletter every time. Perhaps Mark, Terry, and Marny can rotate this responsibility.

SGC is invited to dinner at Seawell, Thursday September 18th with the SCHOOL BOARD at 6:00 pm. A school board meeting will follow.

SGC is invited to a district SGC Meeting at Smith Middle School on September 20th at 8:30 am.  RSVP to Mark.

Talk about accomplishable goalsBrainstorm in this first session. Then pick 3 or so goals that people would agree are most important ones that people think we could accomplish this year.

Preliminary discussion on this years 5th grade field trip (Sara Mansfield - teacher in the preschool has volunteered to be in charge)

Kris Betts has moved to Raleigh, and won't be in SGC (Tammy Samuelson is next on ballot)   Thus, we need to figure out how to proceed based on bylaws.
